A special day of training has been scheduled for Ohio Freemasons who would like to promote the Masonic Model Student Assistance program at thier local schools.  The training will be held at the Grand Lodge Building, 634 High Street, Worthington on Saturday, December 10 from 10 am to 5 pm.  Lunch and training materials will be provided to all registered participants.  There is no cost to participate, but registration is required.  To register please email the State Coordinator, Michael Cecil, at mccecil@aol.com not later than December 7.

Larry Newman, one of the originators of the program, will explain how the Masonic Model training assists schools to indentify and intervene with at-risks students and the best ways to promote this training to schools.

The Grand Lodge of Ohio has sponsored the cost of several Masonic Model trainings each year since 1997, and Grand Master Kevin B. Todd has made it a special emphasis during his year as Grand Master.
